Para entender la intensidad de «Here Comes The Void», hay que reconocer la audacia de sus influencias. Buried Souls se dirige a los seguidores de la densidad estructural de Misery Index, el ímpetu implacable de Dyscarnate, y la brutalidad de la vieja guardia como Bloodbath, mientras inyecta esa sensación gélida y mecánica propia del Blackened Death Metal.
