carpe diem

Mi amiga Aida me regaló esta maravilla de flores el día de mi cumpleaños. No son peonías, no son hortensias... en fin no tengo ni idea de lo que son. Crecían en un arbusto altísimo de su jardín y me parecieron preciosas.   Al llegar a casa las puse en agua y las coloqué en uno de mis rincones favoritos de casa. Más tarde mirándolas me dio por pensar en lo efímero de lo bello, de lo bueno... La belleza de estas flores pasará... inevitablemente (así de debe ser)... por eso las fotografié, las miro, las admiro y las disfruto.   Así debe de ser con todo, admirando y disfrutandolo todo... viviendo el momento...carpe diem!   Feliz domingo!  ------ My friend Aida, gave me this gorgeous flowers on my birthday. They are not poenies nor hortencies... I must confess that I have no idea what kind of flowers they are. They grew up in Aida's garden and I fell in love with them.   When I got home I put them in water and I placed them on one of my favorite corners. Later, while I was looking at them I started thinking about the ephemeral of beauty or good things. The beauty of this flowers inevitably will fade.  That's why I took pictures of them  and I'm still looking at them and I'm enjoying them.   This is it... admiring eveything enjoying every little moment...carpe diem!!     Happy Sunday!     (Photos by Y tan flamenca!
