Communion outfit

This past Sunday I went to a relative´s communion and thank god it was hot! When going as a guest to a communion there´s specific attire that you should have in mind when choosing what you´re going to wear: women should wear light colors and if you´re wearing a dress or a skirt, you should choose nothing too short and men have to wear a suit for sure, but I think the tie is optional. I opted for a greek-inspired nude dress paired with brown and golden studded heels. I played with the accessories choosing a fun clutch, a pair of sparkly earrings and a Chanel-y bracelet.
Este domingo fui a la comunión de un familiar. Hay un par de cosas que se deben tener en cuenta a la hora de vestirse cuando se asiste a un evento de este tipo: las chicas deberían llevar colores suaves y, en caso de llevar falda o vestido, el corte no debería de ser muy por encima de la rodilla; y los chicos tienen que llevar traje, aunque creo que la corbata es opcional. En esta ocasión elegí un vestido nude de inspiración griega y lo combiné con unas sandalias de tacón marrón y tachuelas doradas. Para los accesorios elegí un bolsito divertido, unos pendientes con un toque brillante y una pulsera estilo Chanel.
