Hemos encontrado un precioso video de boda en Green Wedding Shoes en el que nos ha llamado la atención enormemente un momento en el que los invitados se pasaban los anillos a través de un hilo, así que decidimos investigar un poco más. Ya conocíamos la ceremonia en la que los invitados “calientan” los anillos, pero no habíamos profundizado en ella.
We have found a beautiful wedding video in Green Wedding shoes in which something has strongly drawed our attention: guests handed the rings to each other using a thread, so we decided to do some additional investigation. We already knew about that ceremony in which guests “warmed the rings”, but we haven’t gone into it.

La ceremonia consiste en que alguien (el oficiante o un invitado de confianza) explique a los presentes que se van a pasar las alianzas a los invitados, para que las cojan unos momentos entre las manos y piensen los buenos deseos que quieren para la pareja y los vuelvan a pasar al siguiente. Se puede realizar justo antes de que empiece la ceremonia propiamente poniendo música mientras los invitados se pasan los anillos o se puede ir haciendo durante la ceremonia. Cuando se realice el intercambio de anillos, el oficiante explicará que las alianzas ahora contienen la energía de todos los invitados.
In that ceremony there is a celebrant or trusted guest who explains the audience that they will be given the rings to hold them for a moment and project their best wishes for the couple. After that, they will be requested to hand the rings to the following guest. This can be done either just before the ceremony begins, with some music being played while guests are handing the rings to each other, or at the same time the ceremony progresses. When rings eventually get to bride and groom, they will be containing all guests’ energy.

Normalmente se atan las dos alianzas para ir pasándolas, pero en este caso Laura y Allen las pasaron através de un hilo, colocándolo por delante de cada una de las filas donde se iban a sentar los invitados. A nosotros nos encantan los detalles con los que todos los invitados se pueden sentir especiales. ¿No os parece un momento entrañable y que nadie olvidará?
Rings are usually tied as long as they are being handed, but in Laura and Allen’s wedding, they were passed using a thread placed before the seats. We love details who make guests feel special. Don’t you think this is an unforgettable, intimate moment?
