DIY. Árbol de Navidad/Christmas Tree

Si todavía no habéis decidido qué decoración navideña vais a poner este año, ¡vais retrasados! Nosotros nos hemos decidido por un árbol navideño, bonito, barato y que no ocupa espacio, muy de agradecer  en nuestro mini-piso. Además, se puede transportar sin problema, otra ventaja. Hemos preparado una sesión de fotos con motivo de nuestra fiesta navideña anual y este DIY era exactamente el fondo que necesitábamos…

If you already haven’t made up your mind about what will be this year’s Christmas decoration, we’re sorry to say you’re late! We have chosen a beautiful, cheap, space-saving Christmas tree, very useful in our little apartment. Besides, it can be easily transported which is definitely an advantage. We have prepared a photo shoot on the occasion of our yearly Christmas party and this DIY project was exactly the background we were looking for….

Los materiales que hemos utilizado son:

The elements we have used are the following:

• Papel kraft/kraft paper
• tijeras/scissors
• rotulador blanco o tiza/white marker or chalk
• alfileres o imperdibles/safety pins
• adornos para colgar/christmas ornaments

1. mide el espacio donde vas a colocar el árbol de ancho y largo y corta el papel y extiéndelo en el suelo. 1. width and length of the spot where you will place the Christmas tree must be measured. Then cut kraft paper accordingly and spread it out on the floor. 2. Dibuja el árbol. Crearemos un abeto sin hojas. 2. Turn the paper upside down and draw the Christmas tree on it. We’ll make a leafless tree. 3. Cuelga el papel a la pared con cinta de doble cara o chinchetas.  (si tus paredes son lisas puedes colocar el papel en la pared y dibujar el árbol directamente) 3. Hang kraft paper on the wall with the aid of drawing pins (if your walls are smooth then you can directly hang kraft paper and draw the tree on it) 4. Ya puedes decorar el árbol, si los adornos elegidos no tienen gancho solo cintas utiliza alfileres o imperdibles para colgarlos en el papel. 4. Now you can decorate the Christmas tree. If the ornaments don’t come with a hook, only ribbons, use pins to get them attached to the kraft paper. Imágenes/images: A Kiss of Colour
