Diy - kenzo eye inspired sweater

Los que me seguís en otras redes sociales como Twitter o Instagram habéis visto que llevo unos días preparando un proyecto DIY para el blog inspirado por la colección FW13 de Kenzo y en especial con el símbolo del ojo. La verdad es que me encanta todo lo que están haciendo Carol Lim y Humberto Leon rejuveneciendo la marca, dándole un aire muy cool y haciéndola deseable para el público joven. Así que tras hacer un poco de research me puse a hacer por mí mismo una reinterpretación de la sudadera con el ya mítico ojo de Kenzo que está siendo todo un éxito. Aquí está el resultado, a ver que os parece... 
Those who follow me on social media platforms like Twitter or Instagram you have seen that I have been working on a DIY project for the blog inspired by FW13 Kenzo collection and specially with eye symbol. I love everything Carol Lim and Humberto Leon are doing in Kenzo giving a fresh air to the brand and making desirable for young folks. So after doing some research I tried to do by myself a reinterpretation of the Kenzo eye sweater. So let me know what you think...
Las herramientas que necesitas son sencillas: una sudadera de algodón, unas tijeras, cinta de lentejuelas, fornituras brillantes, pintura téxtil, pincel, cortador, pegamento téxtil, y habilidades con illustrator para realizar la plantilla.
All that you need is a 100% cotton basic sweater, scissors, sequin trim, rhinestones, fabric paint, a brush, precision cutter, textile glue and skills on illustrator to do the template. Lo primero que tienes que hacer es recortar la plantilla para posteriormente calcarla sobre la sudadera. Una vez recortada, pasamos a calcarla con tiza para marcar la ropa y elegimos dónde queremos situar las fornituras, la tira de lentejuelas de diferentes colores y la zona que será pintada con pintura textil. 
First of all you need to cut the template to later trace it in the sweatshirt. Once cut we have to trace it with chalk clothing marker and choose the position of rhinestones, sequin trim and the fabric paint area. Ahora sólo nos falta pegar las lentejuelas y las fornituras en las zonas que hemos elegido y aplicar la pintura textil. Depende de la pintura textil que uses en algunos casos tendrás que usar la plancha para fijar la pintura al tejido. Si es así, asegúrate de planchar la sudadera del revés con una temperatura baja para no dañar la prenda.  
Now, we only have to paste the sequins and the rhinestones in the chosen areas and apply the textile paint. Depends on fabric paint you choose, in some cases it's necessary to use the iron to fix it to the fabric. If so, inside out the sweatshirt and be sure to use a low temperature to avoid damaging the fabric.
