   Como materia prima para elaborar nuestra caja, utilizaremos páginas de publicidad de revistas, puesto que el barniz empleado en su impresión le confiere una rigidez que no encontramos ningún otro tipo de papel.   Otros materiales que necesitareis son:- Lápiz- Regla- Tijeras- Cinta adhesiva

   As raw material to make our box, we will use magazines’ advertisement pages, because the varnish used in the printing process give the pages an stiffness we don’t find in other kind of paper.   Other materials you will need are:- Pencil- Ruler- Scissors- Adhesive tape


   Comenzamos dibujando un cuadrado en nuestra hoja. Es importante que la imagen que queremos quede centrada en el cuadrado, ya que ésta será la tapa superior de la caja. En nuestro caso, vamos a dibujar un cuadrado de 18x18 cm; para construir la tapa inferior, seguiremos el mismo procedimiento que se describe a continuación, pero restando un centímetro de lado al segundo cuadrado.
   We start drawing a square in our piece of paper. It very important the image we are interested in is centered in the square, because this will be the top cover of the box. In our case, we have drawn an 18x18cm square. To make the bottom cover, we will follow the same steps we describe below, but drawing a square with one centimeter less by side. 
Otra forma de obtener un cuadrado sin necesidad de utilizar lápiz y regla es alineando el margen superior de la página con el margen derecho. Una vez hayamos obtenido nuestro cuadrado y cortado el sobrante, estos son los pasos seguir:
1. Dar la vuelta a la hoja. Llevar la esquina superior derecha superior hacia la esquina inferior izquierda para trazar una diagonal sobre el papel. Estirar el papel y repetir este paso, llevando la esquina superior izquierda sobre la esquina inferior derecha. Al estirar nuevamente, debemos tener una X marcada.

Other way to get the square without using a pencil and ruler is lining up the top edge of the paper with the right one. Once we have got the square and cut the excess, those are the steps to follow:1.Turn the page. Trace a diagonal on the paper folding the top right corner over the bottom left corner. Open the paper and repeat this step folding the top left corner over the bottom right corner. When we open again, we should have marked an X .
2. Coger cada una de las cuatro esquinas del papel, en el orden que prefiramos, y llevarlas al centro de la página.

2. Fold the four corners of the paper of its center, in the order you prefer. 
3.Llevar el lado izquierdo sobre el centro y marcar el doblez. Estirar el papel y repetir este paso con el lado derecho, el superior y el inferior.
3. Fold the left edge over the centerline and mark. Open the paper and repeat this step with the right edge, the top edge and the bottom one.

4.Abrir la página estirando los triángulos de los lados derecho e izquierdo.
4.Unfold the page stretching the left and the right triangles.

5. Llevar los lados superior e inferior hacia el centro.
5. Fold the top and the bottom edge ove the centerline.
6. Trazamos cuatro diagonales – dos en cada extremo –, alineando el lado inferior con el lado derecho, y el lado superior con el lado izquierdo.
6. Trace 4 diagonals – 2 on each end –, lining up the bottom edge with the right edge, and the top edge with the left edge.

7.Llevar los lados superior en inferior hacia fuera, a medio camino. Así obtendremos 2 laterales de la caja.7. Take the top and bottom edges and unfold to the outside. We will have 2 sides of the box.

8. Coger la figura por su lado izquierdo. Unir las diagonales para que se encuentren en el centro y doblar el sobrante. Repetir con el lado derecho.8. Take the figure by its left side. Join the diagonals to encounter them in the center and fold the excess (the triangle). Repeat with the right side.
   Llegados a este punto, nuestra figura debería ser ésta.
            At this point, this should be our box.
