¡Esta noche llegan los Reyes Magos! Si estáis envolviendo los regalos de última hora y queréis darles un toque especial, os proponemos unos pompones con tela.
One day before Epiphany! Tonight, the Three Wise Men leave their presents in Spain and some Latin American countries. If your last minute gifts are still to be wrapped up, today we are bringing some fabric pom-poms to give a special touch.
Help yourself to the following materials:
- tela/a piece of fabric
- tijeras/scissors
- artilugio para hacer pompones (también se puede hacer con dos cartones de la forma tradicional, aunque es mucho más laborioso)/a pom-pom maker (you can always use the traditional two pieces of cardboard, though, it is much more laborious)
1. Recorta tiras de tela de unos 2-4 cm de ancho. No tienen porqué ser regulares. En nuestro caso, hemos hecho jirones de un tul.
1. Cut fabric strips about 2-4 cm wide. Don’t waste your time making equal size strips . This time, we used shreds of tulle.
2. Enrolla la tela de la misma forma que lo harías con la lana.
2. Wind fabric the same you would do with yarn.
3. Recorta la tela y termina el pompón atando un poco de la misma tela o de cordón alrededor. Si vas a utilizar el pompón para envolver un regalo deja los extremos algo más largos para poder atarlo bien.
3. Cut fabric and finish pom-pom by tying a bit of the same fabric or cord. If you are going to use it for gift wrapping, then leave some cord on both ends so that you can tie it up to the gift.

Podéis utilizar los pompones para crear guirnaldas, como flores para centros de mesa o hacer unos clips para zapatos. ¡Que los Reyes os traigan muchos regalos y poco carbón!
You can use pom-poms to make garlands, flowers for centerpieces or shoeclips. May the Three Wise Men bring you no coal, just a lot of presents!!
