Hace ya tiempo mi amigo Iván ( que ama lo vintage tanto como yo, o más) me regaló un puñado de pequeñas llaves antiguas.
Las he ido utilizando para diversas cosas pero hacía tiempo que llevaba en mente hacer unos cuadritos para la invitación de invitados.
Así que tras mi paso por Ikea me hice con un par de marcos Ribba blancos. Abro paréntesis: cada mes de Setiembre me pasa lo mismo y tras las vacaciones me entran unas gans locas de cambiar cosas en casa me zambullo literalmente en Ikea a la caza de cositas nuevas. Cierro paréntesis)
Así que la tarde del pasado domingo (que aburridas son las tarde de domingo por cierto) me lie con estos cuadritos tan sencillos.
Simplemente pegué un retal de Toile de Jouie rosa a un cartón y coloqué el passe-par tout del marco.
A continuación pegué la llave antigua con una cinta que compré hace algún tiempo y a la que todavía no le había dado uso. Y el resultado es el que véis.
Muy sencillos pero yo encantada con el resultado.

My friend Ivan,who loves vintage things as I do... or maybe more, gave to me some ancient keys some time ago.
I used them in several projects but it was a long time that I wanted to use them to do these frames for the guests bedroom.
So, after visiting Ikea, I came back home with a couple of white Ribba frames. Every September is the same. After the summer vacations I feel the necessity of changing things at home and that's why I literally immerse myself at Ikea hunting for new stuff.
So, last Sunday afternoon ( by the way...how boring are Sunday afternoons!!!) I did these simple frames.
I used a piece of fabric, the key and some ribbon that I bought some time ago and I hadn't used yet.
I stuck the piece of toile de joie on a cardboard and then I put the passe-par tout. All that remained was to stick the key with the ribbon tied on it… And voilà!
They are very simple but I love the result.
