Double Tag

Hi there everyone! It's been a while since I made a tag, but today I have finally one to share with you!

¡Hola a todos! Hacía mucho tiempo que no hacía una etiqueta, pero hoy ¡por fin tengo una para enseñaros!

I called it a "double tag" because, as you can see, it has two layers. The first one is made of regular white cardstock and the second is made of vellum paper.

Lo he llamado "etiqueta doble" porque, como podéis ver, tiene dos capas. La primera está hecha de cartulina blanca y la segunda de papel vegetal o "vellum".

To make the first layer I heat embossed the beautiful floral image from the stamp set "Flower Garden" by Poppy Stamps on a piece of white cardstock. Then I die cut a tag from Simon Says Stamp (all supplies listed at the end of the post) on top of it and did it again on a piece of vellum. Later, I die cut two more dies: "Dahlia Corner Frame" and "I love you" to use them on top of the vellum piece. For the sentiment I applied the same Gold Embossing powder I used on the background  to create that golden look.

Para hacer la primera capa, he embosado la imagen floral del set de sellos "Flower Garden" de Poppy Stamps en un trozo de cartulina blanca. Después he troquelado un tag de Simon Says Stamp encima (la lista de materiales está al final de la entrada) y lo he vuelto a hacer encima de un trozo de papel vegetal.  Después he troquelado dos troqueles más: "Dahlia Corner Frame" y "I love you" para usarlos sobre el tag de papel vellum. Encima del sentimiento he usado el mismo polvo de embossing que había usado en el fondo para crear esa apariencia dorada.

I cut the frame from the "Dahlia Corner Frame" and used only the flower on the vellum tag. I also die but a few hearts and assembled everything. To finish it up and keep both layers together, I added a bit of white twine.

He cortado el marco del troquel "Dahlia Corner Frame" y he usado solo la flor en el tag de papel vellum. También he troquelado unos cuantos corazones y lo he pegado todo. Para acabar y mantener ambas capas juntas, he usado un trozo de cordel blanco.

And that's all from me today. I'm afraid I don't have a video to show you. Actually videos will have to wait for some weeks :(.
