El colorido calendario de adviento de este año ya está aquí/ This year’s merry and bright adventscalendar is here!

Como sabéis, me encanta la época prenavideña y desde pequeñita adoro los calendarios de adviento. Además, desde hace unos años, tengo unos "clientes" muy exigentes, que ponen quejas si no les gustan... 🙂

As you already know, holiday season is my favorite part of the year and I love adventscalendar since I was a little girl. In addition, I have very demanding "customers" since some year now... 🙂

Es importante que el calendario sea divertido y tenga mcho color, además, tiene que ser suficientemente grande para que quepan dos sorpresitas, porque es un calendario para dos. Recordando el calendario de adviento del año pasado y el divertido video que Mikel y Maddi me mandaron de cómo abrían las piñatas, pensé que no podía defraudar, así que este año vamos a hacer cajitas en forma de brick de leche.

It is very important the advent calendar looks funny and colorful and it has to be big enough to include two surprises, as it is made for two. Remembering last year advent calendar and the funny video Mikel and Maddi sent me opening the pinatas, I thought I needed something special and I think these little milk cartons are. Son supersencillas de hacer y solo vais a necesitar un ratito para plegar el papel, ya veréis. Vamos a tomar las medidas de un A-4 de referencia. así que vamos a trabajar a partir de un cubo de 7 cm por lo que haremos un primer doble en uno de los lados cortos de 2 cm que nos servirá como pestaña para pegar. Doblaremos el rectángulo grande resultante en dos mitades. Y estas dos mitades las volveremos a dividir en dos. Después doblamos el lado corto en 3 partes de otros 7 cm.

The boxes are really easy to make. Yo only need an A-4. We will use a 7 cm module. You will be able to fold the short side into 3 parts and the long one into 5, 4 parts will be 7 cm wide and the other is going to be just 2 cm (we will use it to glue our cube.
En uno de los extremos cortamos los dos centímetros que habíamos dejado para pegar los extremos y haremos un corte desde el borde del papel hasta la intersección con la línea horizontal. Pegamos ambos extremos cortos del papel por nuestra pestaña y doblamos los cuadrados que han resultado de hacer el corte, pegando unos encima de otros.

Cut the 4 intersection lines of one of the ends and cut off. Glue the 2 cm rectangle in the middle with the opposite side of the paper and then, fold and glue the square you already made, by cutting the bottom of the figure.

Metemos las sorpresas para cada día y doblamos el extremo de arriba para cerrar la cajita, yo perforé la parte de arriba para colocar mis etiquetas, pero podéis colocar una etiqueta con cada número añadiendo una pincita. Ya tenéis el DIY perfecto para este fin de semana!

Put the surprise in each of the boxes and fold the top of the box as shown in the image. Put the numbers on each of the boxes and there you have it. This is the perfect DIY for this weekend!!
