La banda de Melodic Death Metal Evocatus ha desvelado el videoclip oficial de su monolítico tema principal, «Devoted to Inevitable Death». Este agresivo sencillo animado sirve como un nuevo capítulo visual para su álbum, «Inevitable Death», lanzado a través de WormHoleDeath.
«Devoted To Inevitable Death» se presenta como una atronadora oda al destino, la guerra y el final ineludible que afecta a toda la existencia.
El guitarrista Vaughan compartió detalles sobre la creación de la canción:
«Escribí el riff principal de esta canción justo después de que terminara la grabación de nuestro último álbum, «Path to Tartarus», sin llegar a tiempo para ese lanzamiento. En ese momento estaba escuchando mucho Beyond Creation, y este riff principal se inspiró en la introducción potente de Omnipresent Perception. Mi objetivo era combinar esto con los altos vertiginosos y los bajos agitados de los estribillos para darle realmente una sensación contrastante de ‘triunfo a través de la tribulación’. Esta canción también tiene mi solo favorito del álbum, estoy muy contento con cómo resultó.»
El nuevo videoclip fue ilustrado, animado y editado por @VKI-ILL, traduciendo la intensidad y la emoción del tema a un mundo visual de mitología desgarrada por la guerra y finalidad inminente.
The Melodic Death Metal band Evocatus has unveiled the official music video for their monolithic title track, «Devoted to Inevitable Death». This aggressive, animated single serves as a new visual chapter for their album, «Inevitable Death», released via WormHoleDeath.
«Devoted To Inevitable Death» is presented as a thunderous ode to fate, warfare, and the inescapable end that affects all existence.
Guitarist Vaughan shared details about the song’s creation:
«I wrote the main riff for this song just after recording finished for our last album, «Path to Tartarus», not quite making it in time for that release. I was listening to a lot of Beyond Creation at the time, and this main riff was inspired by the chunky intro on Omnipresent Perception. I aimed to combine this with the soaring highs and churning lows of the choruses to really give it a contrasting ‘triumph through tribulation’ feeling. This song also has my favourite solo on the album; very happy with how it turned out.»
The new music video was illustrated, animated, and edited by @VKI-ILL, translating the track’s intensity and emotion into a visual world of war-torn mythology and imminent finality.
