Fang 10

Sueños, ¿cuántos sueños tengo por realizar? Montones. Escribir un artículo para una revista que me gusta es uno de esos, hecho realidad...
Cuando recibí la propuesta de parte del editor de FANG de escribir sobre mi tema favorito, experiencias de viajes, quedé fascinada y halagada. Y es que FANG es una revista que se distingue por su hermoso diseño, la calidad detrás de cada una de sus hojas, la pasión puesta por todo su equipo, vanguardista, profesional,  dirigida a un público joven conocedor y exigente, la mejor en su tipo en el estado de Zacatecas. 
Ya les he hablado de mis encuentros con Rogelio Bonilla, el editor en jefe de la revista. Desde hace tiempo, él y yo ya habíamos hablado de la posibilidad de mi colaboración en la revista, pero es verdad que las cosas se dan cuando es un mejor momento...y sin duda, es éste. 
Así pues, ahora se trataría de hacerlo en un texto menos espontáneo que el blog, pero sin perder el toque personal que lo caracteriza. Y después de varios mails con Mariana Salcedo (la guapa Jefa de Contenido y Maquetación) y de llamadas y más mails con Rogelio, decidimos el estilo y el tema de la sección "Trotamundos". A partir de ahí, la verdad es que me dieron carta abierta para escribir, corregir, re-escribir, leer, re-leer y finalmente, enviar la versión final de la sección. 
Después, la expectativa, tic tac, tic tac...esperar algún comentario del editor. Cuando por fin, llega un mail que me dice: ¡Buenísimo!  
Entonces sólo quedaba esperar para verla en papel. Por fin, he recibido el paquete con mi nombre impreso y la bella revista FANG 10 envuelta en papel reciclado. Un deleite.
Ya les había compartido la liga de la revista en versión digital y ahora les comparto la experiencia detrás de esta colaboración. Muchas gracias a todos los que me han mandado mails, comentarios en Facebook y mensajes por Twitter para decirme que les ha gustado. Ese es, sin lugar a dudas, el júbilo que hay en torno a cada palabra.

Dreams, how many dreams do I have? Bunch of them!  Write an article for a magazine that I like is one of those, came true...

When I received the proposal from the FANG editor to write about my favorite subject, travel experiences, I was fascinated and flattered. And it is because Fang is a magazine that is distinguished by its beautiful design, the quality behind each of its sheets, with a  passioned and professional team,  aimed at a young, knowledgeable and demanding audience, that makes this magazine the best one in its kind in the state of Zacatecas.

I have already spoken of my encounters with Rogelio Bonilla, the editor-in-chief of the magazine. For some time, he and I had talked about the possibility of my collaboration with the magazine, but it's true that things happen when is a better time... and certainly, it is now.

So now, the idea was to try to do it in a text less spontaneous than the blog, but without losing the personal touch that characterizes it. And after several emails with Mariana Salcedo (the beautiful Chief of Content and Layout) and more calls and emails with Rogelio, we decided the style and theme of the "Road Warriors" ("Trotamundos" in spanish) section. From there, the truth is that I got open letter to write, edit, re-write, read, re-read and finally send the final version of the section.

Then the expectation, tick tock, tick tock...to have some commentary from the editor. When at last, there comes a mail telling me: "It's so good!"

Then wait to see it on paper. Finally, I received the package with my name on it and the beautiful magazine FANG 10 wrapped in recycled paper. A delight.

I've shared with you the link of the magazine in digital version and now I share the experience behind this collaboration. Thank you very much to all of you who have sent me emails, Facebook comments and tweets to tell me that you liked it. That is, without doubt, the joy that is around every word.
