Aunque Barcelona no sea una ciudad de bicicleta, por sus múltiples desniveles montañosos, este transporte está de moda.

Cada vez son más los que se apuntan al carro de las dos ruedas, aunque eso les cueste un par o más de duchas al día. Pero no nos equivoquemos, lo retro y las BH de cuando éramos pequeños ya no son lo más, ya no vale repedalear  la bici rosa que nos regalaron cuando cumplimos los 10 años o quitarle a una pobre abuelita del pueblo su velocípedo para ir a buscar el pan. Hoy en día, si quieres ser el más moderno del barrio tienes que llevar una fixed, que son lo más de lo más, aunque eso implique sufrir unos 5 días de agujetas mortíferas en los cuádriceps.

You can’t get away with riding that pink thing that they gave you when you were ten, nor is it excusable to steal a bike from an old lady like you did in 2008. These days, if you want to be the most modern person in your neighbourhood, you need to ride a fixed, even if it means that you are going to spend five days with crippling cramps in your quads.
