They say all roads lead to Rome. And to me, whatever the way it has been, it led me to this beautiful city on two occasions separated by 10 years. I attribute my return to the wish I made back on my first trip at the Fontana di Trevi, perhaps the most famous Baroque fountain in Italy.Yeah, a wish. It is said that visitors should throw a coin into the fountain with the right hand to ensure return to Rome and also a fulfilled wish. Honestly, I have no idea what I wished for the first time, but what I do know is that my return to this city wasn't part of my travel schedule this summer and was as a great surprise birthday present.Rome is a wonderful city, where history appears in every corner and where it is refreshing (even with the harsh summer heat) to see people so happy and friendly with tourists (remarkable hospitality everywhere that with a simple smile makes the difference to other major European cities).Well, my new appointment with the famous fountain and its colossal Neptune made me repeat the custom and threw the coin, hoping that a future and unknown road take me to Rome. What happens to the money thrown into the fountain? Estimated 800,000 euros per year are collected for Caritas or for needed RomansI was impressed, I was amazed and I gasped with such impressive monument of 1730. Imagine the sound of water and the bustle of tourists around, however, I managed to take this photo as if no one else was there.Italian and exquisite moment!
