Freemasons unite for Veterans Day

We come to discuss a great and important undertaking of Freemasonry here in Eastern North Carolina.

We come to discuss a great and important undertaking of Freemasonry here in Eastern North Carolina.

On Nov. 7, Masons from The Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of North Carolina (AF&AM) and The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of North Carolina (F&AM) will unite as one body and represent Freemasonry, as a whole, during the Veterans Day Parade.

This will be the first time we, as the two Grand Lodges, join in a public endeavor to promote unity as Freemasons this side of I-95.

With the country being divided more than ever, we as Freemasons want to show that we can stand together as one, for one!

Knowing that this endeavor is more than overdue, we want to utilize this forum to promote unity of all races, creeds, religion or military background.

Our hope is that the mission of Freemasonry will raise the moral, social, intellectual and spiritual conscience of society by teaching the ancient and enduring philosophical tenets of brotherly love, relief and truth, which are expressed outwardly through service to God, family, country and self under the fatherhood of God within the brotherhood of man and will help change one mind, open one heart, relieve one burden and show our community that there is hope for mankind!
