Gallianos shoes /Tras las huellas de Galliano

The news of the week in the fashion industry is the naming of Raf Simons as the head artistic designer for Christian Dior.  John Galliano being one of the most influental designers of the past times has definately left behind a grand legacy in Dior and it will be difficult to fill his shoes.  Unfortunately the last memories of Galliano which most of us are left with was his poor behavior rather than someone who brought performance to the runways.    So what can we expect from Raf Simons for Dior?   Simons last collection in Milan for Jil Sander was ¨soft¨, elegant and romantic in comparison to some of the other designers shows whose collections were on the ¨darker¨ side.  La noticia de la semana en la industria de la moda es el nombramiento de Raf Simons como el nuevo director artistico para la casa Dior.  John Galliano siendo uno de los diseñadores mas influentes de los últimos tiempos ha dejado un gran legado en Dior y será dificil ocupar su hueco.  Desgraciadamente las ultimas imagenes de Galliano son de alguien ebrio que no sabe comportarse en publico en vez del genio que llevaba el espectaculo a las pasarelas internacionales de todo el mundo.  Entonces, ¿Que podemos esperar de Raf Simons para Dior?  En su ultima colección en Milan para Jil Sander fue muy elegante, romantico y dulce en comparacion a otros diseñadores que mostraban un lado mas oscuro para la temporada AW 2012-13. 
Whereas Galliano in his last collection for Dior left us with images of ¨caped cruisaders¨ in dark colors, like charcol greys and a more masculine look as opposed to the feminine look of Raf Simons.  Galliano en su última colección para Dior nos dejo imagenes de ¨caped cruisaders¨ en colores oscuros como grises, malvas y azules y un look mas masculino en comparacion a un look mas femenino de Raf Simons.   Raf Simons will definately do his best to maintain the elegance and sophistication which Dior simbolizes but will he be able to replace the creativity and spectacularity of Galliano?  In July, we will soon find out, with his first collection for Dior during Couture week.  Sabemos que Raf Simons tiene toda intencion de mantener la elegancia y sofisticacion que simboliza Dior pero ¿podrá Simons reemplazar la creatividad y espectacularidad de Galliano?  En Julio tendremos nuestra oportunidad de ver su primera colección para Dior durante la Semana Couture.
