Great expectations for the Great Gatsby

I'm pretty much counting the days for The Great Gatsby to reach my nearest theater.Give this girl nice dresses to fantasize about, music, romance, and Baz Luhrmann's creativity, and watch her stay blissful!Grandes Expectativas por El Gran Gatsby.
Se me cuecen las habas por ver The Great Gatsby, estoy ansiosa de que ya por fin llegué al cine más cercano.¡Denme lindos vestidos con cuales fantasear, música, romance y la creatividad de Baz Luhrmann, y contemplen mi dicha!

Costumes / Vestuario
Most of the men's costumes were created by Brooks Brothers, but...Add some party dresses inspired on the roaring 20's by Miuccia Prada, and  voila! It just makes my pulse rise!
La mayoría de los vestuarios para los caballeros fueron creados por Brooks Brothers. Pero por si no me latía lo suficiente el corazoncito, me voy enterando que la mismísima Miuccia Prada diseño algunos de los vestuarios de los fantásticos años 20's.

I have some sort of an I-love-you-I-hate-you feeling for the very fashionable Lana del Rey. I bought her cd - in special edition if you must know- and I listen to some or her songs frequently. There is something in her style that really appeals me, the retro part of course, but at the same time I dread some of her lyrics.Tengo sentimientos encontrados por la muy de moda Lana del Rey. Si, compre su disco, y edición limitada ya que estoy en las confesiones, y si escucho algunas de sus canciones con frecuencia.Hay algo que me llama la atención de su estilo, esa clara influencia retro, y su imagen súper femenina; pero al mismo tiempo algunas de las letras de sus canciones, me parecen súper chocantes.
Her song "Young and beautiful" -on the Tv spot attached here- is beautiful. Just like her, and just like Gatsby's parties, it's very decadent.
Lo que si es que su canción "Young and beautiful" me encanto. Como ella, y como las fiestas de Gatsby, muy decadente.

The rest of the soundtrack- which you can preview here-  is a mix between the Great 20's jazz and modern influences, which honestly is something Mr.Luhrmann can pull off pretty well, like he proved with Romeo + Juliet.  It includes tracks from will.i.am, The Bryan Ferry Orchestra, Gotye, Fergie, and Florence & the Machine. Nice! It even includes an Orchestra remake of Beyoncé's Crazy in Love! I'm in love it already!Chenquen por favor el resto del Soundtrack en este link. La música una mezcla padrísima entre el jazz de los 20's e influencias modernas, lo cual ya vimos en Romeo+Juliet que al señor Luhrmann se le da bastante bien.
El soundtrack incluye canciones de will.i.am, The Bryan Ferry Orchestra, Gotye, Fergie, Florence & the Machine, y más. Trés bien!¡Con decirles que hasta un remake con orquesta de  la canción Crazy in Love de Beyoncé! ¡Que dicha!




May is my favorite month, and with this movie in sight, I'm sure it won't lose it's beauty.Mayo es mi mes favorito, y por lo general trae muchas cosas buenas, y con The Great Gatsby por estrenarse, de seguro se sumara a la lista de cosas buenas.
