Growing out an undercut /Sobreviviéndo un corte tipo "undercut".

En éste otro artículo les platicaba de la maravilla que es traer un corte de cabello con una sección de la cabeza rasurada, o lo que bien se conoce como "undercut". Hace casi dos años que me hice un corte así, la pregunta de mi estilista, de mi mamá y algunas amistades era: "¿ y cuándo te lo quieras dejar crecer cómo le vas a hacer?", igual pasó cuándo me hicieron un corte tipo Pixie. Sobra decir que en ese momento era la menor de mis preocupaciones ya que no tenía planes de dejar crecer ésta sección de mi cabello, pero en caso de que ustedes también hayan optado por un look similar y ahora se lo estén preguntando, aquí les hablo al respecto...

El problema es cuando nuestro cabello en lo que era un undercut empieza a crecer un poco más, y puede volverse rebelde, pero aún no está lo suficientemente largo para recogerlo o para agregarlo a una trenza, o llevar otro look que no sea el cabello suelto.
Las chicas que tengan un corte tipo bob o cuyos mechones más largos no lleguen ni al hombro, dejenme les digo que son muy afortunadas ya que lo podrías disimular más facilmente con solo conservar su mismo corte en el resto del cabello.
 The issue is when the undecut section starts  a growing a bit more and it starts to become rebellious, or when it is not long enough to get it into a pony tail, and of course braiding it is completely impossible, so you are left with the option of telling your hair down or maybe sport a half pony tail.For all of you lucky ladies that got an undercut with a bob or a short haircut, all you have to do is to keep your haircut's lenght while letting the shaved area grow and get an even lenght.
En mi caso yo me hice undercut tanto en la nuca como en el lado izquierdo, así que hay algunos peinados que cubren muy bien mi nuca y el rebeldísimo cabello que apenas va creciendo (como una trenza sencilla, o una colita de caballo baja, u otros recogidos bajos; pero que por la sección lateral se ven muy desaliñados, así que algo que me ha funcionado muy bien  es utilizar balerinas (así como en mi infancia) con colita de caballo.In my case I had an undercut in the nape and on the left size, so there are hairstyles that cover very well the back of my head and the rebellious strands in that area that seems to take for ever to grow: like a simple braid, or a low pony tail, or any other low chignons, but the side area would make most of the hairdos look quite untidy. For me scarfs, bandanas and anything that you can tie around your head with a ponytail or a braid is the safest bet.

Aquí les tengo algunas sugerencias de cómo disimular el largo desigual de tu cabello.
So here we have some ideas and suggestions on how to disguise the uneven lenght of your hair.
1) Colitas de caballo lo más bajas que puedas / Low-as possible- pony tails
Puede ser la colita en sí con tu liga o con un broche bonito, claro que al agregar un listón, una mascada o un palicate lograr cubrir mejor hasta los cabellitos más rebeldes de la nuca.
You can do a simple pony tail with an ellastic band or maybe choose a cool brooch, but if you add a bow or a scarf to it you will for sure get to cover more of the rebellious and still short strands on your nape.
2) Recogidos envueltos en una mascada / Scarves wrapped around your doDale un aire bohemio a tu cabello mientras dejas a todos preguntándose que tan largo estará en realidad tu melena.
Give a boho look to your hair while you leave everyone wondering how long exactly it is your mane.
3) ¡Aprovecha que es invierno! / Flaunt your winter accesories!
Las bandas tejidas, goritos de estambre y de lana, no solo mantendrán tu cabeza y orejas calientitas sino que también te ayudarán a ocultar lo que fuera tu undercut.
o bien... accesorios de verano.../ or of course... summer accesories...
Cambia las piezas tejidas por pashminas, mascadas y sombreros y ¡listo!
Switch from the knitted accesories to cotton scarves, bandanas and hats and voilá!
