High quality and diversity of European animated series energized Cartoon Forum 2011

El Cartoon Forum de este año se celebró en Polonia, específicamente en la ciudad costera de Sopot , entre el  13 y 16 de setiembre, desde aquí se abren una serie de producciones, co-producciones para el mercado de la animación europea. Cartoon Forum presentó este año 700 participantes de 30 países, entre ellos 250 compradores, además de 600 nuevos proyectos desde que este gran encuentro entre productores, realizadores y compradores se organizó en 1990 se han financiado 470 series, lo que representa un presupuesto total de 1,6 millones de euros. Evidentemente un gran ejemplo a seguir para los emergentes mercados de la animación de otras latitudes. Aquí en Perú se creo el Anymagic hace unos años atrás, lastimosamente el evento languideció pero el mercado nacional esta realmente en alza como nunca hay hasta cuatro películas animadas en post producción en el Perú, quienes han abierto en cierto modo los oidos son instituciones como la UCAL y la Universidad de Lima que en en octubre realizará el primer ANIMATE-International Animation Festival, pronto les daremos mas detalles.

The next edition of Cartoon Forum will take place from 11 to 14 September 2012, in Toulouse, one of France's most dynamic cities and home to some of French animation's best studios.
