Huevitos de Pascua

The other day I saw on the Humunuku Shoppe blog these nests of white chocolate for Easter.

To make your own chocolate nests you’ll need:
- 12 oz of your favorite white chocolate
- 4 cups of pretzel sticks
- Your favorite egg shaped easter egg candies 


Para hacerlos, tenemos que derretir el chocolate, lo mezclamos con los palitos y luego, con una cuchara y un tenedor, vamos dando forma a los nidos y le ponemos los huevitos, antes de que el chocolate se enfríe, para que se queden pegados, dejáis enfriar y ¡listos! Slowly melt your white chocolate on very low heat either over a double boile. Pour melted chocolate over pretzel sticks and stir to coat evenly. Using a spoon and fork, form birds nests on parchment paper. Add three of your egg candies to look like little birdie eggs in your nest. Let the chocolate set for a bit until firm. You can put it in the fridge for a few minutes to speed it up, but don’t leave it in there too long!

Luego, los podéis presentar como queráis: celofán, papel kraft, etiquetas, baker twine,...  Package and decorate anyway you like. I’ve used flat cellophane bags and black string.
