Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office Launches New Smartphone App

The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office has announced the release of a new smartphone app.

The app, they say, will serve as a "modern way" for the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office to connect with residents and visitors to Iberia Parish, providing information to anyone with a smartphone.

The app provides quick access to items of public interest. Features include:

• Welcome from the sheriff
• Submit a tip
• Sex offenders
• Most Wanted
• Detainee information
• Pay taxes online
• Contact us
• Plans

"A very large majority of the inhabitants of the parish of Iberia use their smartphones as the only option for communication and use of the Internet. By providing its free app to the public, the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office can better respond to the needs and information important to the citizens of the Iberia Parish, "Sheriff Romero said.

The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office smartphone app was developed by TheSheriffApp.com, a division of OCV, LLC.

The Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office app is available for free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play by searching for "Iberia Parish Sheriff, LA".
