Un 24 de marzo de 1984 cinco adolescentes aparentemente sin nada en común se quedaron castigados en la biblioteca del instituto.No se conocían,tampoco quería conocerse,sabían que eso era solo pasajero,que el lunes en el instituto ni siquiera se mirarían pero al menos por unas horas pudieron ser ellos mismos,contarse sus penas sin ser juzgados,podían ser amigos.Han pasado ya 30 año y el tema sigue vigente,los adolescentes no han cambiado mucho,solo como se relacionan."El club de los cinco"(The breakfast club" John Hughes,1985) es una de esas películas imprescindibles,un clásico de los 80,desmonta los tópicos adolescentes,esos estereotipos de las películas americanas:aquí tenemos a la princesa,interpretada por la musa de los 80,Molly Ringwald;el criminal,Judd Nelson;el atleta,Emilio Estevez;la rara,Ally Sheedy y el cerebrito,Anthony Michael Hall.Han sido castigados por diferentes motivos que conoceremos a lo largo de la película,que a pesar de transcurrir en un corto periodo de tiempo en el mismo lugar es muy entretenida,profunda,divertida,emotiva,según muchos se trata de la obra cumbre del cine adolescente.Y es que "El club de los cinco" es mucho mas que una película de adolescentes,va mas allá,nos hace pensar,preguntarnos cosas como ¿Porque juzgamos a las personas sin conocerlas?¿Que sabemos de los demás? ¿Que sabemos que les lleva a comportarse de esa manera?Es una gran película,muy recomendable.¿Os gusta?¿Cuál es vuestro personaje favorito?
