International Montessori Congress 2017

A los suscriptores de la newsletter ya os he comentado que este verano me voy a Praga al International Montessori Congress, ¡¡estoy súper emocionada!! El último congreso internacional Montessori se celebró hace 4 años en Portland (USA) y, aunque participé desde la distancia en el Montessori Elevator Speech Contest, me quedé con las ganas de ir. Así que ¡esta vez no me lo pierdo! 🙂

El lema del congreso este año es "El camino hacia la paz: Educación Montessori para el cambio social", y creo que no podrían haber elegido otro lema mejor. Siempre digo que Montessori abarca muchas cosas, pero la base sobre la que se construye toda su filosofía es el respeto al ser humano y la educación para la paz.

Tengo muchas ganas de asistir a este congreso, en el que estoy segura de que voy a aprender un montón y además voy a poder charlar y compartir experiencias con un montón de apasionados de Montessori de todo el mundo. Y por supuesto a la vuelta os lo contaré todo en un post especial 😉

This summer I'm going to Prague to the International Montessori Congress! The last Montessori International Congress was celebrated 4 years ago in Portland (USA) and, although I participated from the distance on the Montessori Elevator Speech Contest, I stayed with the desire to go in person. So this time I'm not missing it! 🙂

The motto of the congress this year is "Pathway to Peace: Montessori Education for Social Change," and I think they could not have chosen a better motto. I always say that Montessori encompasses many things, but the foundation upon which the philosophy is built is respect for the human being and education for peace.

I'm really looking forward to attending this conference, where I am sure I will learn a lot and I will also be able to chat and share experiences with a lot of Montessori enthusiasts from all over the world. And of course when I'm back I'll tell you everything in a special post 😉
