Más conocido en el mundo escultórico y visual, Jay Bolotin se dedicó a componer e interpretar su música a principios de los años 70. Le editaron un disco en 1970, bajo el mismo nombre; bastante cotizado. Estas canciones que acertadamente recupera Delmore Recordings, vienen a completar su escasa discografía.JAY BOLOTIN
Las letras giran en torno a la naturaleza, los recuerdos íntimos y los textos bíblicos. Su música, de carácter intimista y melancólica, es mas bien acústica, apoyada en su guitarra en algunas canciones o con pocos instrumentos, en otras; con algún violín delicado surgiendo. Recuerdan algunas al gran cantautor Townes Van Zandt y otras a cierto folk ácido y psicodélico cercano a los excelentes Pearls Before Swine.
