Con motivo del 50 aniversario de la muerte de John Coltrane el 17 de Julio de 1967, en Jazz Recordings se va proceder a llevar a cabo un homenaje a la figura del gran saxofonista que constará de diversas publicaciones.
El contenido de las publicaciones será el siguiente:
1.- ARTÍCULO: John Coltrane: Perfil sobre la figura del saxofonista. 2.- ARTÍCULO: John Coltrane: Los años Atlantic. 3.- ARTÍCULO: John Coltrane & Miles Davis: La gira europea de 1960. 4.- LIBRO: John Coltrane, "Jazz, racismo y resistencia" (Ediciones de Intervención Cultural/El Viejo Topo, 2003). 5.- CD: John Coltrane, "Offering, Live At The Temple University" (Impulse Records/Resonance Records, 2014). 6.- CD: Dave Liebman & Joe Lovano "Compassion: The Music of John Coltrane" (Resonence Records, 2017).

With these 6 contents Jazz Recordings want to make a small but heartfelt tribute to the figure of the saxophonist John Coltrane and father of the current modern saxophonism.
