A veces las mejores combinaciones se basan en los elementos más simples, tanto en la moda, como en la vida, en una noche de fiesta, una comida de domingo o una cita inesperada: La verdadera moda rara vez radica en las tendencias efímeras, pero eso lo habréis leído muchas más veces por ahí; Estoy seguro. La verdadera moda y estilo radica en cosas atemporales e inamovibles, como unas deportivas blancas, o un abrigo viejo y sabio que combine con todo. Quizás mi concepto de la moda es simple, porque me gustan las cosas simples, como tomar un café a las 8 de la mañana un lunes, o en dormir desnudo un domingo hasta tarde y girar la almohada por el lado que está más fresco, o quizás, en escuchar una canción una y otra vez hasta que me la aprenda de arriba a abajo. Cosas simples que acaban dando sentido a la vida.
Ayer me puse lo primero que encontré, salí a dar un paseo por Ruzafa, el barrio de moda de Valencia, lleno de moños despeinados, barbas cuidadas y deportivas desgastadas. Ayer me di un paseo con mis nuevas gafas de Sol de Sunday Somewhere, me quite el abrigo y deje que el aire se colara entre los hilos de un suéter refrescando mi piel ante un sol inesperado.
Ayer fue domingo y hoy es lunes y eso es todo lo que se, bueno, y que al final, en lo simple, tanto en la moda como en la vida, se encuentran los verdaderos placeres.
Sometimes the best combinations are based on the simplest elements, both in fashion, as in life, in a night, in a Sunday lunch or an unexpected appointment: The real fashion rarely is about the ephemeral trends, but you may have read that so many times in other websites or magazines; I’m sure. The real fashion and style lies in timeless and unchanging things, like a white sneakers, or a wise and old coat that matches everything. Maybe my fashion concept is simple, because I like simple things, like taking a coffee at 8am on a Monday, or sleep naked on a Sunday late and turn the pillow on the side that is cooler, or perhaps, to hear a song again and again until I learn it from top to bottom. Simple things that end up giving meaning to my life.
Yesterday I wore the first things that I found in my closet. I went for a walk in Ruzafa, trendy neighborhood of Valencia, full of tousled buns, nice beards and old sneakers. Yesterday I took a walk with my new sunglesses from Sunday Somewhere, I remove my coat and let it air slinks between the threads of a sweater cooling my skin before an unexpected sunshine.
Yesterday was Sunday and today is Monday and that’s all that I Know, and ultimately, in simple things, both in fashion and in life, are the true pleasures.
