En The Way, Way Back, un chico de 14 años (Liam James) pasará el mejor verano de su vida en compañía del dueño de unas piscinas (Sam Rockwell), que ayudará al joven a fabricarse un poco de personalidad para enfrentarse al novio capullo (Steve Carell) de su madre (Toni Collete). Quizás no sea una maravilla a la altura de Pequeña Miss Sunshine, pero su primer avance promete cuanto menos un puñado de buenas interpretaciones, sobre todo a cargo de un Steve Carell al que no estamos acostumbrados a ver como el malo de la historia. 
La película, que también cuenta con Amanda Peet, Mata Rudolph y Allison Janney, ya se exhibió en Sundance cosechando críticas de todo pelaje y se estrenará en Estados Unidos de forma limitada en junio.    Fox Searchlight has released the first trailer for writers/directors Nat Faxon and Jim Rash’s upcoming coming of age comedy/drama The Way, Way Back.  The film centers on a 14-year-old boy (Liam James) who spends his summer vacation bonding with the manager of a water park (Sam Rockwell) while staying with his mother (Toni Collette) and her overbearing boyfriend (Steve Carell).  We’ll have our thoughts up shortly, but we wanted to make the trailer available as quickly as possible.
