Este es nuestro primer post de vuelta en España definitivamente, al menos por ahora, esperemos que los planes salgan bien. Hoy os traemos un clásico de 1949 que ha llegado a nuestros días con una apariencia joven y radiante ya que se ha sabido adaptar perfectamente al paso del tiempo, se trata del sistema String diseñado por el arquitecto Nills Strinning. Fue diseñado para su uso en oficinas pero su carácter versátil, adaptable y ligero le permiten estar en cualquier estancia y tener múltiples usos.  Se trata simplemente de una estructura metálica en la que se colocan diferentes elementos como baldas, revisteros, mesasy  módulos de cajones o puertas, disponibles en diferentes acabados con los que puedes componer libremente y adaptar a tus necesidades de almacenaje. ¿no creéis que se trata de una gran innovación en el diseño de mobiliario modular, tratándose de los 50?
Today we bring you a 1949 design that is an iconic piece with a fresh and radiant appearance because has been adapted perfectly to our days, is the String system designed by Nills Strinning. It was created for be used in offices but its versatile, adaptative and light character makes be posible place it in any place and have multiple options. It is just a system composed by a metalic structure in which you can hang some elements like shelves, magazine shelves, folding tables and cabinets with drawers or doors, in different finishes that you can compound in your own way and adjust to your storage needs. Don´t you think that is a big inovation in modular furniture design, being created in 50´s?
