libros: The Red Thread of Fate - El Hilo rojo del Destino

Holaaaaaaaa a todos, ya estoy de vuelta. Espero que vuestras vacaciones de Semana Santa hayan sido estupendas. Las nuestras han sido muy relajantes y reparadoras... que buena falta nos hacía.
Poco antes de los problemas de salud de mi chico tuve la oportunidad de asistir a la presentación del libro The Red Thread of Fate - El Hilo Rojo del Destino y la verdad es que entre hospitales y las vacaciones de Pascua no había tenido oportunidad de compartir este libro tan especial con vosotros.
Este no es un libro cualquiera. En primer lugar porque no es un libro para leer sino para colorear, aunque sus páginas narran una historia de forma subliminal y en segundo lugar porque es obra de mi amiga Yasuko Fujioko (y no pasa cada día que una amiga publica un libro... y mucho menos tan bonito).
Uno de los hobbies más cool del momento son los libros para colorear para adultos. Es una afición muy entretenida y relajante y la verdad es que me parece fantástico que los adultos también coloreen y no sea una actividad únicamente destinada a los niños.
En Japón hay una leyenda que cuenta que los Dioses nos enlazan con nuestras almas gemelas con un hilo rojo invisible e irrompible. Yausuko Fujioka a través de sus ilustraciones realiza un repaso por algunos de los tópicos más importantes e iconografía de la cultura japonesa con ese hilo rojo como hilo conductor (valga la redudancia) y pasando por las cuatro estaciones del año.

Hellooooo! I'm back. How were your Easter holidays??
Some days before my hubby illness I had the oportunity to attend to the presentation of the book The Red Thread of Fate but I couldn't publish this post before because of our days in the hospital followed by the Easter holidays.
This is a very special book. For two reasons. The first one is that is not a reading but a coloring book, although there is storyline in their pages. The other one is that it's the work of one friend of mine, Yasuko Fujioka.
One of the coolest hobbies today are the coloring books for adults. It's an amusing and relaxing activity and I think that it's fantastic that coloring is not only for children.
There is a belief in Japan that the gods connect each of us with a soul mate using a red thread. This thread is invisible and it can be twisted or tangled but never broken. Yasuko Fujioka takes a look to some of the most important topics and traditions of the Japanese culture all them connected by this red thread.You can find and colorate this thread while coloring the nice illustrations of Yasuko classified in four parts correspounding the four seasons.
