Lil Nas X vuelve a sorprender con el polémico videoclip de ‘MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)’

Desde el pasado viernes 26 de marzo, está disponible en todas las plataformas digitales el esperado nuevo single de Lil Nas X, un tema titulado ‘MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name)’ que está llamado a convertirse en el nuevo éxito viral del rapero estadounidense.

Así describe el single el propio artista: “Querido Montero de 14 años, he escrito una canción con nuestro nombre. En ella hablo de un tío que conocí el verano pasado. Sé que prometimos no salir del armario públicamente, sé que prometimos no ser ‘ese’ tipo de persona gay, sé que prometimos morir con ese secreto, pero esto abrirá puertas para otras muchas personas queer para que simplemente puedan existir”.

Y añade: “Sabes que esto me asusta, que habrá gente que se enfade, que dirán que estoy forzando una conversación. Y lo cierto es que así es. Una conversación en la que pido a la gente que deje de meterse en las vidas de otros para intentar decirles lo que deben ser. Te mando amor desde el futuro”.

El single ‘MONTERO‘ viene acompañado de un destacado videoclip dirigido por Tanu Muino en el que el artista narra su salida del armario con alusiones bíblicas al pecado de Adán y Eva, al cielo y al infierno e incluso referencias a la cultura clásica grecorromana.
