Desde el principio a todos nos extraño el modelo de negocio y empezamos a darle vueltas sobre el modelo de financiación de esta compañía y las últimas informaciones mostraban que necesitaba entre un 10% y un 12% de sus usuarios premium para poder continuar con su modelo de negocio pero lejos de ver fin a este gran proyecto directivos como el vicepresidente de Universal Music Group ha confirmado que el modelo de negocios de Spotify es un modelo sostenible y que incluso Spotify fue la cuarta fuente de ingresos digitales más importante para UMG en 2009.
Y es que sus números no son fruto de la casualidad, Spotify ahora cuenta con 250.000 suscriptores de pago y casi 100 millones de listas de reproducción creadas por sus usuarios, si no de una estrategia que no tiene que tirar de impuestos ilegales e inmorales, ni de leyes express o policía a su disposición para "acabar con el eMule".
Basándonos en las facilidades que nos ofrece Spotify hemos decidido empezar una sección donde iremos colgando diferentes listas de reproducción de los integrantes del blog, empezando por la lista de reproducción "estandarte" del blog (que ésta vez he confeccionado yo en base a mis preferencias) en la que predomina el rock alternativo y los clásicos del rock pero no olvida el punk y ska británico, algo de Acid funk y más cosas que tendréis que escuchar para poder saber.
