Mabel nos lleva a las pistas de baile en el single ‘Let Them Know’

La artista británica Mabel está de regreso con el tema ‘Let Them Know‘, que se edita como primer anticipo de su próximo trabajo discográfico.

Así se describe el tema en la nota de prensa de Universal Music: “Futurista, sin miedo y con buenas vibraciones, ‘Let Them Know’ celebra la indiscutible llegada de una nueva era y otra mentalidad para Mabel. Compuesta junto a sus amigos e íntimos colaboradores Raye, SG Lewis y MNEK, es un himno que trata de arreglarse sin tener a donde ir, proyectando seguridad incluso en estos tiempos de total incertidumbre. En ‘Let Them Know’ – y mucha más música que está por llegar – Mabel conserva la franqueza de la vecina de al lado, aunque su estrellato brille cada vez con más fuerza”. 

Esta canción nació durante el confinamiento por la pandemia del Covid-19. La artista se trasladó a casa de sus padres y decidió abordar allí todo lo que echaba de menos (amigos cercanos, una noche de juerga, el amor joven, no sentir miedo) en este nuevo capítulo musical. En concreto, el single está inspirado en producciones como ‘Paris Is Burning’, ‘Pose’ y ‘Drag Race’, junto a una reflexión personal sobre el sentido generacional que tiene la música dance como forma de expresión, de liberación y de inclusión.

En ‘Let Them Know’, Mabel apuesta por un sonido house-pop cercano a su último single junto a Tiësto, ‘God is a Dancer‘, que supuso otro éxito en su corta carrera musical superando actualmente los 150 millones de streams en Spotify.
