Recuerdo mi primer par de Chuck Taylor tan bien conocidas como Converse, le dije a mi madre que quería una de cada color que hubiese, en ese tiempo era muy joven y claro uno apenas es consciente de lo que cuesta conseguir las cosas. Obviamente uno no siempre puede permitirse lujos de ese tipo, sin embargo un día me llegaron unas de color negro como regalo de navidad y quizás fue una de las cosas más bonitas que recuerde de mi infancia. Salté, corrí, baile, he hice de todo lo que tenía que hacer con ellas, viví miles de aventuras y al final ya no quería otras que no fuesen las mías, que no estuviesen hechas por mi, que no estuviesen “Made by Charlie”. Recuerdo que me acompañaron en todas las etapas de mi adolescencia, cuando tuve delirios de emo, o cuando iba con skaters, incluso cuando me dio por sentirme más pijo (sin ser yo nada de eso) al final evolucionaron conmigo. Recuerdo que cuando empecé a trabajar me hice con otras porque las que me habían acompañado ya necesitaban descansar, recuerdo que fueron y serán siempre una inversión.
Hoy Foot Locker me ha vuelto a dar la oportunidad de hacerlas mías, de contar mi historia y de sentir de nuevo que mi historia es única y por eso ellas también lo serán. “Único” es cada instante que vives en tu vida, por eso hay que hacer de cada instante una historia, salir a la calle y recordad que la vida está ahí para vivirla y para sentirla, con lo bueno y con lo malo, que no podemos quedarnos fuera de ella por miedo a ser heridos y que habrán momentos en que todo se vaya de nuestras manos. Pero ¿y lo qué hemos aprendido?, ¿Quién puede enseñarnoslo?. La respuesta es sencilla: Nadie. Tu mismo y tus decisiones acaban haciendo tuyo lo que tocas, no dejes que los miedos logren evitar que llegues a tus metas. Sueña y sigue soñando.

I remember my first pair of Chuck Taylor, Converse as well known as, I told my mother I wanted one of each color that it had, at that time I was very young and of course one is barely aware of what it costs to get things. Obviously one can’t always afford such luxuries, but one day I came in black as a Christmas present and was perhaps one of the most beautiful things I remember from my childhood. I jumped, I ran, dancing, I did everything that had to do with them, I lived many adventures and eventually no longer wanted others that were not mine, that were not made by me, that there were “Made by Charlie”. I remember being accompanied at all stages of my adolescence, when I had delusions of emo, or when I was going out with skaters, even when I got to feel more posh (without being anything like that) at the end evolved with me. I remember when I started working I buy my first pair.
Today, Foot Locker has returned me to give them a chance to mine, to tell my story and feel again that my story is unique and therefore they will be also. “Unique” is every moment that you live your life, so you have to make every time a story, go out and remember that life is there to live and to feel, with the good and the bad, not we can stay away from it for fear of being hurt and to be times when everything goes our hands. But what we have learned what ?, Who is teaching us ?. The answer is simple: No one. Yourself and your decisions end up doing what you play yours, do not let fear prevent you get to achieve your goals. Dreams and dream on.
