Esta es la historia de Patricia, un alma blanca que creía haber encontrado su Casita cuando, en realidad, había sido su Casita quien la había encontrado a ella.
¿Alguna vez te has preguntado cómo debe de ser la vida de una de esas personas que viven por y para los demás? ¿Cómo se sentirá ese tipo de gente que antepone la ayuda a otros antes que a su propio beneficio? Pues, por lo visto, esa libertad de ayudar a los demás te da alas para sobrevolar los cielos (Patricia sabe bien de lo que hablo), te regala verdaderas joyas de ojos profundos y espesas pestañas y un sinfín de experiencias que te hacen llorar mucho y reír todavía más.
Pero, misterios aparte… ¿Has soñado alguna vez con llegar a tener algo que ver con ese tipo de personas? No, no me refiero a esos sueños vacíos a los que todos aspiramos durante cinco minutos en nuestra vida. Hablo de sueños reales, de los literales. Patricia cerró los ojos una noche y lo vio claro. Mi Casita apareció ante ella como por arte de magia. Como el que sueña con el boleto premiado de la Lotería de Navidad y le cambia la vida. Solo que en este cuento el mayor premio es el de colaborar en algo verdaderamente precioso en el sentido más etimológico de la palabra.
Mi Casita es un proyecto solidario que nació en 2013 en forma de pulsera. Pero cuidado con el concepto “solidario”. Entendedlo no como compartir con el que no tiene nada o quien tiene una carencia, sino con aquel que, por circunstancias de la vida, necesita de nuestra ayuda en este preciso momento. Filosofía que comparte la Fundación Mensajeros de la Paz, con la que Patricia lleva colaborando estos dos años. ¡Os animo a que todos busquemos un hueco en esa Casita! ¿Qué mejor amuleto que nos inspire a ser un poco más, esperando un poco menos? Have you ever wondered how the life of one of those people who spend their days helping others is like? How do these people feel when they assist others before even taking care of themselves? Well, it seems that the freedom of helping others gives you wings to fly the sky (Patricia knows what I mean), real gems with deep looks and thick eyelashes and an endless number of experiences that make you cry as much as laugh.
But mysteries aside... Have you ever dreamt of having something to do with this kind of people? And by “dreamt” I don’t mean those empty dreams to which we all aspire just for five minutes in our life. I'm talking about real dreams, literal dreams. Patricia closed her eyes one night and saw it clearly. Mi Casita appeared in front of her as if by magic, like the luckiest person that visualizes a winning lottery ticket. But in this story the greatest reward is to contribute to something truly precious in the most etymological sense of the word.
Mi Casita is a charity project that was born in 2013 in the form of a bracelet. But don’t misunderstand the word "charity" here. Think of it not as sharing with those who don’t have a thing or who have a lack of the necessary conditions just like that. Think of it as sharing with those who need our help right now because of some difficult circumstances.
