Models: Unique and unconventional beauty

Twiggy fue su impulsora y Kate Moss secundó la revolución años más tarde. Gracias a su atípica belleza ambas dijeron “No” a los cánones establecidos, e hicieron girar a su favor los tornos de la industria de la moda.
Tras ellas muchas nuevas caras se metieron en el bolsillo a diseñadores, editores de reconocidas publicaciones y bookers, toda una locura para aquellos que unían moda con una belleza específica, lejos de los rasgos angulosos de Iekeliene Strange o Marie Piovesan, la fuerza de Alla Kostromichova o la misteriosa mirada de Mariacarla Boscono.
Sin embargo, estas y otras muchas modelos han logrado que la moda se pliegue en su nombre, frente a todos aquellos que defendían la corrección de lo hasta entonces considerado como bello. La moda, tan desafiante y cambiante como siempre. Si en un cabo encontramos el encanto y atractivo de modelos como Lily Aldridge o Erin Heatherton, en el otro nombres como los antes mencionados explotan sus características más dispares para destacar.
Adiós a los estereotipos. Adiós al metro setenta y cinco y a las facciones baby doll. Adiós a la convencionalidad.
O por lo menos, hasta luego.

After them many new faces win the preference of designers, editors of huge fashion magazines and bookers, a great craziness for those who linked fashion with an specific beauty, far from the sharp features of Iekeliene Strange or Marie Pivovesan, the strength of Alla Kostromichova or the mysterious look of Mariacarla Boscono.
Nonetheless, these and more models have managed to make fashion submit to them, facing all those who defended the correction of what up to that moment was considered as beautiful. Fashion, as challenging and volatile as always. If on one the one hand we find the charm and attractive of models like Lily Aldridge or Erin Heatherton, on the other one, names like the ones mentioned before exploit their most unalike characteristics for standing out.
Bye, bye stereotypes. Bye, bye the one meter seventy five centimeters and the baby doll features. Bye, bye the conventional.
