Airports Authority of India (AAI) officials said they plan to launch this app for passengers to improve the travel experience at the airport when the new integrated terminal opens in June. . In two months, international operations will move to part of the new integrated terminal and it will be a huge respite for passengers who have struggled with lack of facilities and a host of other issues ranging from congestion to lack of cleanliness in the terminal. .

"Through the app, a passenger will be able to reserve a specific space in the car park at a specific time, navigate through the terminal to find out which direction they should go after completing one formality and move on to the next. they will have finished security and immigration, most of them will be tired and want to have a coffee or something to eat.They can order food through the app during this time at food outlets in the terminal and staff will deliver them near the gate where they are seated," an official said.

The Phase II upgrade works are in full swing and some major projects such as the new integrated terminal, multi-level car park and airside operations are expected to be completed in June. "This is a crucial moment for us. From June, passengers will have a better flight experience and we are also taking corrective action on various complaints which we receive immediately," the official added.
