Nolan ya tiene nuevo proyecto: Interstellar

 Christopher Nolan regresará en 2014 con un proyecto de ciencia ficción que, durante un tiempo, se vinculó a Steven Spielberg. El argumento inicial, considerado por los que lo han leído como interesante y rompedor, es obra de Jonathan Nolan, hermano y habitual colaborador del director de The Dark Knight Trilogy. Lo único que se sabe sobre la temática de la cinta es lo siguiente: "The film will depict a heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding". Paramount Pictures y Warner Brothers se han unido para distribuir la película, a nivel doméstico e internacional, fijando su estreno para el 7 de noviembre de 2014. Christopher Nolan ha intervenido en la redacción final del guión y produce el film junto a su esposa, Emma Thomas. Lynda Obst (productora de Contact, entre otras) también se une a la producción. El amplio presupuesto que va a requerir el proyecto ha necesitado la unión de dos grandes majors. Pero en Paramount celebran la llegada de Nolan tras las decepciones recientes por la pérdida de Marvel Studios y el traslado de JJ Abrams a Disney para trabajar en la nueva entrega de Star Wars. Sin embargo, cabe decir que Warner Brothers mantiene su alianza con Nolan (que se inició en 2002) y continúa apoyando a su boy wonder, participando en la producción y asegurándose la distribución de la película a nivel internacional. Estas son las declaraciones de Brad Grey, Consejero Delegado en Paramount Pictures: "As a filmmaker and storyteller, Chris has continuously entertained the world with his extraordinary and unparalleled talents.
