Nuevo libro de Ernest Cline: Armada

Así es, Ernest Cline, autor de Ready Player One, publica un nuevo libro que sale hoy a la venta: Armada.

Somo muchos los lectores que disfrutamos con el primer libro de Ernest Cline, y deseábamos poder leer más trabajos de este autor. Aunque el libro lleva anunciado desde hace mucho tiempo, hoy, por fin, ha salido a la venta. Publicado por la editorial Century en tapa dura, tiene un precio de 12,99 libras.

Tal y como comenté en la reseña de Ready Player One que hice hace unos años, si te gustan los videojuegos y la cultura pop de los 80, este es un libro que deberías haber leído ya. Se trata de una oda a los primeros videojuegos y a la ciencia ficción de aquella época, un imprescindible para los más geeks.

Y ya que te estoy hablando de Ready Player One, aprovecho para informarte de que ya están trabajando en la adaptación de la novela a la gran pantalla, con Steven Spielberg como director

Volviendo al tema principal de la entrada, Armada no tiene nada que ver con la historia que Ernest Cline nos cuenta en su primer libro. En esta ocasión nos presenta a Zack Lightman, un chico que descubre que debe salvar la humanidad después de que una nave espacial aterrice en el patio de su escuela y unos extraños hombres de negro se lo lleven.

De momento no hay noticias sobre la publicación de Armada en español, pero seguro que alguna editorial (¿quizás Editorial B?) se pone las pilas y pronto se publica en nuestro país.
