Está bien, quizá ni la temperatura ni las condiciones meteorológicas sean fiel reflejo del destino en cuestión, pero cuando uno se va de viaje en excelente compañía y con previsión de arrasar en la capital inglesa… ¡lo ve cuanto menos positivo! Aunque todavía queda mes y medio, es necesario ir ambientando el cuerpo y el espíritu. Eso sí, después de haber renovado el armario con looks de inspiración británica: Oxford shoes y capas con fur incluidos. Pero el secreto no solo está en el qué, sino en el cómo.
¿Qué? Prendas cómodas para aguantar el frenético ritmo del turista que todo lo quiere ver mientras recorre las abarrotadas calles de Londres, con holgura y estilo propio. ¿Cómo? Desafiando a ese gélido gris cruelmente implantado entre los ingleses y que tan poco tiene que ver con el espíritu mediterráneo, que presume de sonrisas carmesí que gritan con entusiasmo: “¡Venga, Sherlock, ya hemos llegado!”.

Okay, maybe the temperature and the weather conditions aren’t a true reflection of the destination in question, but when one has a perfectly planned trip in excellent company and is waiting for cleaning the English capital out... you can only look at the bright side! Although there’s still more than a month left until my next holidays it is necessary to get the body and spirit ready. Now, of course, after having updating my closet with British-inspired new outfits: Oxford shoes and fur capes included. But the secret is not only “what” but “how”.
What? Comfortable garments to keep the frenetic rhythm of the tourist who wants to go everywhere and moves along the crowded streets of London, at ease and exuding style. How? Defying the icy grey which so cruelly has been implanted among the British and has nothing to do with the Mediterranean spirit that shows off crimson smiles that shout enthusiastically: "Come on, Sherlock, we are in town!”
