Paid Letter to the Editor: Benda A Voice for Common Sense Voters – Austin Daily Herald

Por Lavoragine @delavoragine

Due to the unfortunate passing of Congressman Jim Hagedorn, a special primary election will be held to fill his seat on Tuesday, May 24. Early voting at your county election office is open now.

For 25 years I have worked hard to represent families, farmers and businesses in southern Minnesota. I am now ready to translate these legal/advocacy skills into fighting for our rural way of life in Washington DC

My campaign has already brought me into homes and businesses in all 21 counties in our district. I have personally knocked on doors and sat at kitchen tables and in businesses to hear from you personally. It makes sense that to be an effective member of Congress, a candidate must listen and learn what is important to voters. As I like to say, "common sense lives at the base and on the main street!" "

As a foreign candidate in this race, I am proud to have the support of so many common sense voters who believe in the authentic message of our campaign.

Many of my Republican competitors will receive endorsements from powerful special interest groups and lobbyists unrelated to southern Minnesota or the people who live here. On the other hand, our campaign will continue to be local and laborious. Read the fine print and you'll see which candidate is backed by those big-money special interests.

I will continue to present my campaign directly to you and look forward to hearing from you about your ideas for setting our country on a course correction. I would be honored to earn your vote and would welcome your help in spreading the word to vote for me in the May 24 Special Primary Election. Vote Benda!
