Preestreno de igelak

El pasado viernes, 2 de diciembre se estrenó la tan esperada comedia social Igelak, que en castellano significa Ranas. Una película que sorprenderá y hará reflexionar a muchos de nosotros sobre el drama social que viven cada día más personas en este país.
Patxo Telleria, director, "No ha querido hacer una película realista", pero sí aprovechar un tono "de fábula" y llevar el argumento y la ambientación "al extremo" para mostrar visualmente "el contraste entre los que les ha ido muy mal y a los que les ha ido muy bien", contesta.Last friday, 2nd of December, the long-awaited social comedy Igelak, translated as Frogs in English, was released in theatres. A film that will amaze and will make many of us think about the social drama that a lot of people have to deal with in our country.
Patxo Telleria, the director, "Didn't want to make a realistic film".
He wanted to give it a "fable" touch and take the argument to "the extreme" to visually show "the differences between those who do good in life and the ones that cannot do that well" he answers.
El 8 de Noviembre (como os mostré en Instagram) tuve la suerte de ver la película en primicia gracias a Serinfor quien me invitó a un pase especial de la película en la Etorkintza Foundation para así ver de primera mano la opinión de personas que han vivido en su propia piel lo que es la exclusión social.

Esa vez no pude acercarme a Patxo ni tuve la suerte de conocer a algunos de los actores para darles mi enhorabuena y felicitar su estupendo trabajo, así que el día 1 de diciembre me armé de valor y les pedí a Patxo Telleria, Gorka Otxoa y a Gurutze Beitia una foto tras chapurrear mis pensamientos en mi olvidado Euskera.That day I had no chance to talk that much to Patxo or even to meet some of the actors to congratulate them so the 1st of December I took courage and asked Patxo Telleria, Gorka Otxoa y a Gurutze Beitia for a photo after letting them know my thoughts of their work in my forgotten Basque.Desde aquí les vuelvo a felicitar por su estupendo trabajo, tanto a ellos como a todo el equipo que ha trabajado en la película y en su promoción.

Yo tuve mis dudas al ver el trailer, pero sin duda me sorprendió para bien.I would like to congratulate everyone for their amazing job.
