1. El último punto comentado se quedó en la línea familiar de Caín. Pero por todos es sabido que Adán y Eva tuvieron muchos más hijos, siendo uno de ellos Set, nacido tras la muerte de Abel. Pues bien, el Génesis 5,6 nos dice los siguiente: "Set engendró también un hijo, a quien dio el nombre de Enós."
Volvemos al punto anterior con Caín. Si no había más civilización humana que la de Adán y Eva, Set solo pudo haberse emparejado con una mujer de su propio grupo familiar. Por cierto, no se menciona quién fue la mujer de Set. Como es obvio, Enós también engendró a otro hijo, que engendró a otro hijo, que engendró a otro hijo... ¿pero quiénes fueron las madres? De eso nada se sabe, entre otras cosas, porque la Biblia solo habla de la línea genealógica formada por varones, algo que no sé si resulta muy consistente teniendo en cuenta que el Génesis forma parte del Pentateuco, y el Pentateuco son los cinco primeros libros de la Biblia que a su vez son los que forman la Torá judía; según el judaísmo, la línea de esta religión se transmite a través de la madre, no del padre.
2. En el Génesis 6,4 dice:
"En aquel entonces había gigantes en la tierra y también después que los hijos de Dios se unieron a las hijas de los hombres, y ellas les engendraron hijos. Son estos los héroes famosos ya desde antiguo."Aquí la influencia pagana es innegable. Según la mitología, los gigantes son hijos de dioses y de humanos, o de hijas de los hombres en este caso, así que una de dos: o está claro que el dios bíblico no era el único dios, o María no fue la única que tuvo un hijo de Dios. Aunque esta última posibilidad es algo más débil porque lo que nos explica la religión es que cuando se habla de "las hijas de los hombres", se está hablando del linaje corrompido de Caín, y cuando se menciona a "los hijos de Dios" se está refiriendo a los descendientes de Set, es decir, la línea buena. Pero la fórmula que parece que nunca falla es esta: linaje bueno = hijos; linaje malo = hijas.
3. Pasamos a otro personaje bíblico, Noé. En el Génesis 7,2, cuando Dios habla con Noé para advertirle sobre el diluvio y lo que tiene que hacer, respecto a los animales dice esto: "De todos los animales puros tomarás siete pares de cada especie, machos y hembras, y de los impuros tomarás un par, macho y hembra."
¿Animales que son impuros, aparte de la serpiente parlante? Es decir, ¿por qué hay animales impuros si todo lo que crea Dios es bueno, y además los animales no conocen el pecado? Intentando darle un sentido, puede que la impureza humana pase a los animales porque al estar el hombre en la corona de la creación, el castigo de dicha impureza alcance a los animales. Y aún intentando verlo de esta forma, en el punto 4 de la primera parte expliqué el por qué del poco sentido que tiene la jerarquía por la jerarquía sobre los animales.
4. Los animales, a pesar de no haber hecho nada, se convierten en protagonistas en muchos sentidos, pero no exactamente para bien, como ya habréis visto, pero es que la cosa se pone mucho peor para ellos. Una vez el diluvio ha pasado, y el arca por fin toca tierra, lo primero que hace Noé es tomar a todos los animales puros y ofrecerlos en holocausto a Yavé. No deja de ser irónico que se celebre la vida matando, y sobre todo animales puros. Pero es en el Génesis 9,2 donde vemos una declaración de intenciones bastante escalofriante: "Imponed miedo y terror a todos los animales de la tierra, a todas las aves del cielo, así como a todo lo que se mueve sobre la tierra y a todos los peces del mar. Todos están en vuestras manos. Todo cuanto se mueve y tiene vida sobre la tierra os servirá de alimento. Yo os lo doy como antes os di las verduras." Es aquí donde por primera vez se hace mención a que los animales sirvan como alimento, nunca antes, como indiqué en el punto 4 de la entrada anterior. Pero vamos a poner atención a las palabras de Yavé Dios en esta parte. ¿Cómo puede hablar de infundir terror un dios que se supone que es amor? En vez de respetar a los animales como creaciones suyas que son, lo que les ordena hacer a los hombres es aterrorizarlos para que sepan quién manda. Probablemente, este Dios esté muy orgulloso de varios ejemplares humanos de hoy en día, porque cumplen esta norma a la perfección. Pero sigamos con el tema. Resulta que los humanos deben controlar a los animales, o bien porque sí, o bien porque ahora ya sirven de alimento, lo que demuestra que Dios busca la servidumbre por la servidumbre.
5. Y no quiero acabar esta segunda parte, sin conocer de quiénes descendemos nosotros realmente. En el Génesis 9,18 dice: "Los hijos de Noé salidos del arca fueron Sem, Cam y Jafet. Cam es el padre de Canán. Estos tres eran los hijos de Noé y por ellos fue poblada toda la tierra."
Recordad que los únicos seres humanos que se salvaron del Diluvio Universal fueron Noé y su familia. Es decir, y poniéndonos en el mejor de los casos, nosotros descendemos de personas que tuvieron hijos entre primos. Depende de lo grave que sea un incesto de tercer grado. 1. The last point I commented was about Cain's family line. But we all know that Adam and Eve had much more children, one of them was Seth, who was born after Abel's death. Well, Genesis 5,6 says: "When Seth was one hundred five, he had a son named Enosh."
We return to the last point about Cain. If there was no other human civilization apart from Adam and Eve, Seth could only had found a mate among the members of his own family. By the way, the name of his wife is not metioned. Obviously, Enoch had a son too, and that son had another son, who had another son... but, who were the mothers? We don't know anything about that because, among other things, the Bible talks just about the male family tree, something that I don't know if it's accurate taking into account that the Genesis is part of the Pentateuch, and the Pentateuch are the first five books of the Bible which form the jewish Torah in turn; according to judaism, this religions is trasmited through the mother's line, not the father's family line.
2. Genesis 6,4 says: "The children of the supernatural beings who had married these women became famous heroes and warriors. They were called Nephilim and lived on the earth at that time and even later."
3. Let's look at another biblical character, Noah. In Genesis 7,2, when God warns Noah about the flood and what he has to do, He says the next lines about animals: "Take with you seven pairs of every kind of pure animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of impure animal, a male and its mate."
Impure animals apart from the speaking snake? Why do impure animals exist if everything that God creates is good? Moreover, animals don't know what sin is. Trying to give a sense to this, maybe the impurity is transmitted to animals through human beings because the man is the crown of creation, so the punishment of their impurity is given to animals as well. Despite this point of view, I have already explained in the fourth point of the last entry why hierarchy over animals made little sense.
4. Although they have do nothing, animals are protagonists in many senses but for no good purpose, as you have seen, but things get worse for them. Once the flood is over, Noah's first actions is taking all the pure animals and prepare and holocaust as an offering to God. It's ironic how celebration of life brings so many deads, specially pure animals. But it's in Genesis 9,2 where we see a scaring statement: "All animals, birds, reptiles, and fish will be afraid of you. I have placed them under your control, and I have given them to you for food. From now on, you may eat them, as well as the green plants that you have always eaten." This is the first time where God says that animals must serve as food to the man, but never before as I remarked in the fourth point of the previous entry. But let us focus on the words that the Lord employs. How a loving God can talk about imposing fear? Instead of imposing respect for animals because they are His creation too, what He commands to mankind is to terrorize them to let them know who rules the world. Probably, this God is really proud of some kind of humans who obey this order nowadays perfectly. Anyway, let us continue with the subject. The thing is that humans have to control animals because it works that way, or because now they are food for them, which proves the fact that God just seeks servitude.
5. I don't want to end this second part without knowing who are our ancestors actually. Genesis 9,18 says: "Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, came out of the boat. Ham later had a son named Canaan. All people on earth are descendants of Noah's three sons." Remember Noah and his family were the only human survivors after the Universal Flood. I mean, the best case scenario is that we are descendants of people who had children with their cousins. It depends on how serious is this kind of incest.
