Sam Smith anuncia el álbum ‘Love Goes’ y estrena el single ‘Diamonds’

Sam Smith tenía previsto publicar su tercer disco el pasado 1 de mayo, pero el artista decidió posponer su lanzamiento debido a la terrible situación que estaba viviendo todo el mundo.

En el momento de ese anuncio, el cantante confirmo también que el disco no se llamaría finalmente ‘To Die For‘ ya que no lo consideraba apropiado dentro del momento que todos estamos viviendo por la pandemia global del Covid-19. Ahora, varios meses después, Sam Smith confirma que su teccer disco se titulará finalmente ‘Love Goes‘ y se pondrá a la venta el próximo 30 de octubre.

Asi describe el artista este nuevo trabajo: ‘Los últimos dos años han sido la época más experimental de mi vida, tanto personal como musicalmente. Cada vez que iba al estudio, me hacía una promesa a mí mismo; que no tendría limitaciones. El resultado ha sido tan mágico, tan terapéutico y divertido. Mi amor por la música es tan enorme y todos mis placeres culpables musicales se han convertido en placeres. Sin culpa, sin vergüenza, solo el amor por cantar, crear y bailar. Estoy tan agradecido con cada ser humano que ha abrazado mi creatividad y mi dirección y me ha permitido ser quien quiero ser en el estudio cada día…  escuchad estas canciones con el corazón abierto y tratad cada canción como si fuese una flor diferente en el jardín. Espero que os divirtáis con ellas, yo he tratado de no tomarme demasiado en serio al escribir algunas de estas canciones. Espero que os hagan sonreír como a mi hoy en día’.

El disco estará formado por once temas nuevos incluyendo su último single ‘My Oasis‘, junto a un segundo disco que incluirá los diferentes sencillos que el artista ha publicado durante el último año. Así queda el contenido de ‘Love Goes’:

Coincidiendo con el arranque de la pre-venta del disco, Sam Smith ha estrenado su nuevo single ‘Diamonds‘, un pegadizo uptempo en el que ha gtrabajado con Shellback, Oscar Görres y Oscar Holter.

Así describe el artista este nuevo sencillo: “He estado bailando en mi jardín esta canción durante mucho tiempo y estoy muy emocionado de que la gente lo pueda escuchar ahora. Fue hecho en un momento muy divertido, y espero que la gente pueda sentirlo así”.
