Security solutions based on video analytics and thermal vision

This October Davantis and Flir had the chance to present to Casmar's customers the new Solutions base on thermal cameras. With this presentation the customers could knew from first hand the latest offerings from Flir, leader manufacturer of thermal cameras, and Davantis, manufacturer of video analytics systems.

The use of video analytics in combination with thermal cameras offers an unmatchable solution for the protection of large perimeters of critical infrastructures like, for example, chemical and petrochemical industry, commercial ports, power stations or photovoltaic plants. Flir's thermal cameras with Davantis video analytics allow for superior detection ranges, thus reducing costs, and removing false positives due to shadows or lights, for example.

The presentation was of great interest for the customers, who in many cases saw an opportunity to grow their offer of professional solutions.
