Series: eltonmanía - Levon

A lo largo de la vida, y con el pasar de las vivencias que la accidentan para bien o para no tan bien, uno va anotando ciertos elementos que son más importantes que otros.  La canción Levon es importante para Sir Elton John.  Pertenece a su cuarto álbum que también es importante para Elton, y se titula Madman Across the Water.  Este fue grabado el 27 de Febrero de 1971.  Existe razonable certeza ante la posibilidad de que Elton cante esta canción en Panamá.
Bernie Taupin escribió la letra de esta canción y Elton es el responsable por la música.  La canción lleva el nombre del baterista de la banda, Levon Helm.  El nombre Levon también es importante para Elton, dado que él y su actual compañero civil, David Furnish, le dieron por nombre a su hijo "Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John", dado que el bebé nació en el día de Navidad (de 2010), igual que Levon en la canción. 
Es una bella canción, y es importante.
