Editor Senior en Style.com Arabia y asidua a las Semanas de la Moda, esta tunecina que responde al nombre de Sofia Guellaty con tan sólo ocho años enunció una frase que le marcaría el resto de su vida “Mamá, de mayor quiero ser editora de moda”, y a partir de ahí todo giró en torno a su pasión, la moda.
Con 19 años dejó su país y cogió el primer avión a París, y de París a Dubai donde creó UNFAIR Magazine, a día de hoy una de las revistas más prestigiosas de Abu Dhabi, y más tarde dio el salto a Style.com donde consiguió escalar hasta convertirse en Editora Senior.
Su estilo refleja la influencia de la mezcla de culturas, todos los viajes y los diferentes trabajos que ha realizado a lo largo de su carrera – también ha trabajado en televisión e incluso ha escrito un libro sobre el autor egipcio Albert Cossery –.
¿Su mejor consejo? Una cita de John Lennon, “Everything will be okay in the end. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.”
Editor Senior at Style.com Arabia and guest of all the well known fashion weeks, when she was eight this Tunisian girl that answers to Sofia Guellaty name outlined a sentence that will mark the rest of her life, “Mum, when I am old I want to be a fashion editor”, and form this moment on everything revolved around her passion, fashion.
With just 19 she left her country and travelled to Paris, and from Paris to Dubai where she created UNFAIR Magazine, nowadays one of the most prestigious magazines of Abu Dhabi, and later she was named Senior Editor at Style.com Arabia.
Her style reflects the influence of the mix of cultures, all the trips she has made around the world and the different jobs she has accomplished during her professional career – she has also worked on television and she has written a book about the Egyptian author Albert Cossery –.
