Staying at The Plaza - Review

It has been a superb experience staying 10 days at The Plaza Hotel in New York City, this hotel is an iconic place in New York, constructed on the most fashionable residencial area of New York (5th.Avenue with Central Park) so many personalities, politician, celebrities, singers etc have stayed at The Plaza and even movies have been filmed in this fabulous hotel since 1907 and  now manage by Fairmont Group.
If you love Alfred Hitchcock movies, you should know that North by North West was entirely filmed at The Plaza, among other scenes filmed for movies like  Plaza Suite, The way we were, The Great Gatsby, Barefoot in the park, Crocodile Dundee , Home Alone II - Lost in New York .
The Plaza continues the tradition of defining luxury through unmatched service with a modern spirit, and it shows every where you go inside this hotel, from its extraordinary decoration, a perfect mix of traditional and modern , fantastic restaurants, unique tea time experience, best breakfasts and egg benedictine I have tried, all complemented with superb service, truly made my stayed a one of kind experience and my birthday celebration a memorable one! Thank you so much!!

Una de las mejores experiencia que he tenido en New York es tener la oportunidad de pasar 10 días el Plaza Hotel. La elegancia , detalles, decoración , ambiente y el maravilloso servicio que brinda a sus clientes supero todas mis expectativas, así como cada detalle brindado durante mi estadía , hizo de mi celebración de cumpleaños uno MEMORABLE . Al llegar tenían preparado una tarjeta con un hermoso mensaje para mi y una torta de cumpleaños simplemente espectacular! El Hotel Plaza abrió sus puerta en 1907 y desde entonces para ellos  "Todo lo que sucede en el Plaza es importante" y tengan por seguro que no dejarán que ningún evento por mas sencillo que parezca , pase desapercibido. Ubicado en uno de los lugares más fashion de New York city (entre 5th. Avenue y Central Park) este hotel es uno iconico en New York, definitivamente uno de los más elegantes en el mundo. Muchas celebridades, políticos, artistas de todos los medios se han quedado en este hotel , así como muchas películas han incluido al hotel en sus escenas, siendo la más importante North by North Bridge de Alfred Hitchcock , quien filmo toda la película en el Hotel en tiempos donde las filmaciones eran hechas en estudios de Hollywood. 

The plaza is the first hotel in the world to offer in room ipad to control your entire hotel experience, at a touch of a screen I was able to book restaurants, communicate with the concierge , order in room dinning, program wake up call even print my boarding passes! I adore my bedroom and every detail that made it a perfect stayed! I have taken some photos through out my stay that I am sharing in this post in a attempt for you to capture and feel through the images my experience. I really hope you enjoy it. 
El hotel Plaza fue el primero en incluir ipads en sus cuartos , los que te permiten el manejo y control completo de estadía en el hotel, desde hacer reservas para restaurantes, comprar, revisar tu itinerario , imprimir boarding passes , apagar luces, poner timer, dimer o programar llamadas para ser despertado  a una hora específica. 


You will see many Chandelier in the hotel as part of the decoration that gave it character and created a special mood for us guests. La decoración es tradicional y verán muchos chandeliers , uno más hermoso que el otro, he tratado de fotografiar los más lindos para ustedes. 
Details in gold will be noticed in the decoration through out the hotel to enhance the elegance and luxury feeling . Detalles en dorado fueron incorporados por todo el hotel *esto es bañado en oro en algunas piezas, los veras en las paredes, techos, ascensor, decoración, vajilla, baños etc y les aseguro que no lo sentirán como too much sino es la perfecta mezcla de lujo, elegancia sin abrumarte. 


You walked through the revolving doors to encounter this awesome chandelier and flower arrangements, every body stopped to take a photo you couldn't resist how beautiful it looked.
Lo primero que apreciabas  al entrar al hotel era esta maravillosa lámpara siempre adornada con flores que se cambian 1 vez por semana, imposible resistirse a fotografiarlo, vi a todos los huéspedes o visitantes que iban a comer, almorzar o al famoso tea time o brunch tomarse una foto aquí.

One night we walk all New York and came late to the hotel and we had a casual late dinner with dessert at The Palm Court and the best Gin and Tonics in the city!Una noche regresamos tarde al hotel y pensamos no encontrar servicio pero el restaurante Palm Court nos preparó una cena sencilla pero deliciosa que disfrutamos y probe uno de los mejores Gin and Tonics que he probado en mi vida! 100% recomendado .

The Todd English food court The Todd english food court is a place where you can visit and have a snack or a complete meal and lunch time, it gets pretty busy during the week and only opens until 10pm . You can also get specialities like caviar , amazing sweets and bakery goods.
Algunas personas se sienten intimidadas y no visitan lugares como este pensando que es súper caro, déjenme decirles que si están por New York durante la hora de almuerzo entren al Todd English Food Court por 30 dólares almuerzan delicioso además de encontrar delicatessen para todos los gustos. Es súper conocido , no solo chicos y chicas saliendo de la oficina vienen, también turistas, niños etc siempre investiguen y traten de hacer su estadía en un lugar la mejor!

Las niñitas saben que en este lugar encontrar la tienda de Eloise, es un lugar divino para llevar a tus hijas, tengo que contarles todo sobre el mundo de Eloise , esperen el siguiente post!! The Eloise shops are found in the Plaza and its an amazing place to visit if you have a daughter and come to New York with them.
