Estoy segura de que la mayoría de vosotros ya os habéis dado cuenta de que en el sector de la moda hay una clara tendencia a los básicos, una vuelta a los colores simples como el blanco, negro o gris (quizá añadiendo algún beige). Yo no se si es porque la época del año así lo reclama (con la llegada del invierno abandonar los colores llamativos y estampados florales, étnicos, …) o porque realmente el mundo de la moda vuelve a hacer hincapié en lo más básico de todo y hacer destacar de este modo la belleza natural sin necesidad de tanta parafernalia (ya sabéis que no me gusta nada ir sobrecargada o demasiado llamativa, espero nunca caer en esa corriente). Sea como fuere a mi me encanta estar reduciendo mi armario a camisetas, camisas y pantalones en colores neutros como los que he mencionado anteriormente, ¡viva la vuelta a los básicos!

Por este motivo aprovecho las horas de sol en Madrid para salir a mis reuniones matutinas sin necesidad de abrigarme en exceso. Esta vez he escogido un jersey de lana negro bastante abrigadito, una falda de rayas blancas y negras y mis oxfords con lengüeta XL. Como habitualmente y sobre todo en los posts de esta semana no llevo maquillaje (excepto rímel y brillo de labios) porque si bien es cierto que es necesario cuando vamos a un evento más importante, a una cena o para salir de fiesta, también reconozco que me encanta dejar descansar mi piel un poco los días que la agenda me lo permite (como en los viajes o en mi día a día). Los complementos como siempre en mi línea: sencillos y finos, nada llamativo.

I’m sure that many of you will have noticed that in the fashion industry there is a clear trend to basics, a return to the simple colors like white, black or gray (maybe adding some beige touch). I don’t know if it’s because of the season (with the arrival of the winter time bright colors and floral prints and ethnic prints almost disappear at all) or because really the fashion world again emphasize on the basics and it bet for the natural mood without going so over dressed (you know I do not like anything too flashy or get overloaded, I hope I never fall into that). Anyway I really like and enjoy to be reducing my wardrobe to shirts, tees and pants in neutral colors like I mentioned above, back to the basics!

I still take advantage of the sunshine in Madrid to go out in the mornings to my meetings dressed up without excess. This time I have chosen a black wool sweater, a striped skirt in black and white and my black oxfords with XL tongue. As usually and especially in almost every post of this week I’m not wearing makeup (except mascara and lip gloss) because on one hand it is true that we really need make up when we have an important event, a dinner or party night but on the other hand I also recognize that I like to leave my skin free some days when my agenda allows me (as traveling or in my day a day). The complements as I like them: simple and thin rings, nothing too much.
