Reproduzco aquí (en inglés) una una entrevista hecha en The Junior sobre la colección otoño invierno 2011-2012 y la estilista y creadora Thérèse Yang.
Who is the creator of the brand? Who are designers of your brand and what was then first impulse to create the brand? The creator of the brand is the stylist named Thérèse Yang. She has been a teacher at le studio Berçot during 10 years and an artistic director for different brands.
How would you define the philosophy of the brand? Fashion for kids can be affordable.
What are the main values your brand stands for? Children can wear fashion without being dressed up like little adults.
How is your brand different from other fashion brands for kids? Simplicity and taste.
What do you consider your biggest inspiration when preparing new collections? The “air du temps”.
How is kid’s fashion different from adult’s one? What kind of customer are you trying to reach? Kids need to run, to move, they often make stains, they do not like itchy or tight clothes. These things seem obvious but are often forgotten in children fashion.
What has been the biggest success your brand has achieved? We are proud to be sold in 42 shops, all around the word, 3 years after having created our brand.
What has been the funniest item you launched so far? Our hoods with ears. Children love to imagine themselves as rabbits or cats and they love the fake fur softness.
